Privacy!! According to Wikipedia, privacy is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves, or information about themselves, and thereby express themselves selectively.
Everyone loves to enjoy their privacy to a large extent, but what happens when such privacy is unconsciously traded for other benefits?
It is no new fact that we are at the information age, the value of information is priceless. Multinational companies, government and other entities are more than ready to pay billions of dollars for the most beneficial information.
The question is how are this information gotten? We have gone past the era where information is collected manually through the use of questionnaire and the likes. Most information in this present age is gotten from the users of internet.
The internet has made life easy for billions of users globally, but this ease comes at a cost of their privacy. Information about user’s identities, personal life and asset are acquired online without the users consent. Once a user connects to a server, his name, age, online behavior, etc could easily be detected and collected without the user being aware.

In simple words, Essentia is a decentralized framework that bestows users with the ability to fully control their personal information and identity online. Essentia grant users the freedom to determine the extent to which their identity is revealed online, they can decide to completely withhold their identity or reveal a certain part of their identity. Users can be confident that with the use of Essentia, their privacy won't be at stake while accessing the internet. Literarily, Essentia is what privacy is all about.
